The Chapel Choir of the Royal Hospital Chelsea and the Academy of Ancient Music return to Cadogan Hall to continue their Easter oratorio cycle.
Handel’s Messiah , composed in 1741, is one of the most beloved of all choral works, setting a selection of scriptural texts compiled by Charles Jennens. Although it can be performed at any time of year, Holy Week is a particularly fitting time.
